Metro Supply Chain supports brain cancer research with a $50,000 sponsorship to A Brilliant Night

At Metro Supply Chain, we believe in making a meaningful difference in the communities we serve. That's why we were proud to support the important work done by The Neuro (Montreal Neurological Institute-Hospital) as a lead Brilliant Sponsor of “A Brilliant Night” held on October 11, 2023 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

For eight years, A Brilliant Night has been raising funds to raise awareness of brain cancer and advance The Neuro's research efforts. The Neuro is a McGill University research and training institute and a specialized hospital of the McGill University Health Centre. Its work has led to ground-breaking discoveries that are impacting people's lives worldwide. In total, A Brilliant Night has raised over $6.5 million.

"Before 2015, our work was world-class, but it was progressing at a snail’s pace,” explained Dr. Kevin Petrecca, Chief of the Division of Neurosurgery and Associate Chair-Neurosurgery of the Department of Neurology and Neurosurgery at the McGill University Health Centre. “Over the last several years, the steady support of philanthropic gifts has allowed us to do things in neuroscience that no one has ever done before."
